Episode Rants: Episode 56

Hey people, the Aichi's finally back~! :D I know I have been mixing in apples lately (MIA), but schools been really tough and I really haven't had much time to update the blog. Kamui's been spamming you guys a lot with her so called wisdom right? She is as annoying as this in real life. Allow me to illustrate: Kamui: NOOOOOOOO you shouldn't do that!!!!! blah blah blah... (trying to act pro and telling me that my playing method sucks. Basically acting high and mighty) Aichi: Shuddup and get lost I decide how I want to play don't give me your act smart shit and interefere. *smack Kamui * ( I know my deck the best and I decide how I want to play according to my playing style so stop interfering and get lost!) PS most of the time without her help, I still win muahahahaha xD

So yeah I've decided to give you guys a nice episode rant for a change. =]

I'm actually very disappointed with episode 56. Bushiroad is freakin biased towards Aichi. No hand and make him draw Alfred early then pull out BB. If he didn't get a stand, Aichi would have freakin lost already and seriously with Enigman Wave whacking you at 33k and you only guard for one trigger, Bushiroad won't even give him one trigger. Seriously???!!! I would much rather they let the koutei (emperor) win. I mean using laurel's effect and with that beautiful field display, he totally deserves it. But noooooo Bushiroad won't let him. They must let aichi win and kill him with BB (blaster blade) wth....

Also, what's with the mass promoting of Alfred Early??!!! It can't even form a 20k set up, it is a promo card which makes it freakin hard to get, and  if you don't have Blaster Blade in soul it's basically useless shit. Alfred early is basically just there to prove Aichi's gay love towards BB....argh the retarded-ness of it. But yeah this episode totally proves one point. Commander Laurel...(because you are worth it xDDDDD) <<<< tagline from loreal paris muahahahaha

But yeah I quite liked the Koutei's strategy and his effectiveness in using a Dimensional Police deck. Quite a beautiful display I think. So yeah that's basically it. I am really looking forward to the next episode. Kai vs Ren. Did anyone notice Ren's Psyqualia cheating skills? His starter is gurubau a GRADE 1 not fulbau the grade 0. Another stupid mistake brought to you by Bullshitroad  I mean Bushiroad xP

Oh and right here is the daily dose of BL for you in episode 56. Aichi: Im going to reject psyqualia's powers!!! (aka reject ren) (Aichi's inner thoughts: I rather stick with Kai!!!! He's hotter!!) Ren: *shocked that Aichi rejected his pedo face calls through psyqualia * How could Aichi do this to me... I feel so hurt and betrayed.... *emo and angst * Kai: *Smirks at Ren * Aichi's mine.. we are going to start dating in season 2 *inserts pedo face xD * TROLL!

So yeah thanks for reading and now I really must get back to my homework sighs... =.=  Ja ne~

Episode Rant: Episode 55

Haven't posted in a while again!!
Chinese New Year is coming, but have to go house visiting, otherwise it'll be a nice long holiday for dueling xD
Aw well as least have some break :)
Ok now... Episode 55 ranting!!
(I still suck at rants... but nvm)

Firstly, I wonder, WHY IS IT ALWAYS MISAKI WHO LOSES. BIASED SHIT CAN.
I mean, OTT isn't that bad a deck! Some more is CEO-Tsukuyomi build! And they also say that Misaki's dueling style is very good cause she calculates and stuff. Still make her the one who always loses. Making her look so inferior.

And then...  I don't understand why Misaki didn't over-Ride Full Moon during her last turn. Since she had White Rabbit of Inaba, she could just Soul Charge the Grade 1 in, and she would have had an 11k Vanguard. And she could use Full Moon's effect to increase hand size. Yeah, so her attack force may have been reduced, but at least she had more guard.
But then again, she may have considered that using CEO's effect to filter her deck's Triggers would be better.

Anyway now I'd talk about some new cards. Firstly, Dailady. Ok, it's effect seems ok, but I wouldn't use it. For it's effect of adding 3000 Power to a <Dimension Police> Unit, it has to hit a Vanguard. Which the opponent would be sure to guard. Ok, so forcing the opponent to guard, that sounds good. But in a <Dimension Police> deck, what you want is your Vanguard to HAVE the attack boost already. If the attack really didn't hit, then there's no point... Cosmobeak or Grander would be better in my opinion. Anyway 3000 Power isn't enough to activate Daiyusha's or Storm's effect... and to Rain, it only needs 2000 more Power, which Grander can do the same, and it's a confirmed increase in Power...
Next up, Miracle Beauty. With Rain, and the new Stand Trigger, this card can be abused big time. Just Stand this card, and you have a full set up once again.
Now, Aichi's cards. He's all onto Booster 5, with Wingal Brave as his starter (did they finally ban Barcgal...?) and the two Knights - Friendship and Loyalty. He still Called Barcgal for Superior Riding though. So I don't think he's using Majesty Lord Blaster yet. As for the two Knights (Knight of Loyalty, Bedivere and Knight of Friendship, Kay) they are powerhouse attackers to help in getting past the pesky 18k barrier for Rear-guards now, all that is needed is a "Blaster" Vanguard. (doesn't even have to be <Royal Paladin>)

This post had started off as a rant and ending as a review, lol!

Some random things...

Firstly, we apologise for taking so long to post!! School's really hectic and all...

By the way, this post IS full of random stuff. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Anyway, recently we've started playing a card game: Weiβ Schwarz!! :D
It's another card game by Bushiroad, with some similar aspects, such as taking damage, having Rest and Stand positions, so on and so forth...
It's still luck based, but is more reliant on strategy too, in a way.
So far, we find it fun and all, but we'll still be sticking to Vanguard as our main game.

We mass trolled on our first day of playing WS. I played my WS deck, and "Aichi" used her Vanguard deck. I had no idea what we were thinking, but it was epic shit.

Speaking of which, I haven't whacked any Booster 5 packs. >.<
(Actually I don't intend to, since I'm not really looking for any cards in Booster 5... I gave up on Majesty Lord Blaster when I saw its price.)
But I'm glad that Royal Paladins got their 3rd Stand!! :D My prediction came through haw-haw in your face "Aichi".
And I'm sure "Aichi" is glad to see those new Dark Irregulars cards... Dark Soul Conductor is gayshit.

Another of my trolling skills:
The ultimate Bors Formation!! xD
Everything is ok, except that last Bors at the back row...
Well, it is the Final Turn anyway, might as well make the best of it. xD

By the way, I would like to "advertise" for Murakumo too. They are fun. Go play them.

Review - Booster 5: Twin Sword Awakening

We have been busy with school, haha!
Today's Friday~~~ Gonna post on what I think about the Booster 5 cards revealed so far!!
(Majesty Blaster Lord's effect still not revealed... Sigh)

Overview:
BT05 is really gonna be a new era. With evolving Grade 3s, the new 13k Vanguards, and even the new mechanic "Bind".
13k for Vanguard makes it harder for attacks to go through. That means Rear-guards should aim to have 18k set ups, and your Vanguard should aim for that too, if not able to go on to 23k. Of course, with Palomides, Marhaus, Executioner, Bedivere, Masquerade, 8k or even 9k Boosters, it won't be too hard to hit 18k...
Bind is a new mechanic introduced by Euryale, a Grade 3 Oracle Think Tank (OTT) Unit. Bind basically means that you select a card in the opponent's hand (I assume this is at random) and then you put it face-down somewhere, and you can't use it for card effects, guarding, etc, for that turn. This is painful if you lock down a Nullifier or maybe even a Mandala Lord.

Nowadays most of the Grade 3s are Vanguard only effects... sigh.

Rough guide of cards released:
- Lots and lots and lots of Neo Nectar. Their effects are based on getting out more Rear-guards for effects. They're getting 1 of each Trigger type.
- Murakumo quite a lot also... Trigger ratio is also 1 of each type.
- Pale Moon: a suckish Grade 3, lame Grade 1 and 2, WHOOHOO A NEW STAND TRIGGER
- Dark Irregulars: A DRAW TRIGGER!!!! And a 10k Booster, but they already have 9k Booster with the same criterion and a Doreen which can go way more that just 10k. Beelzebub is like... ok, but meh.
- Oracle Think Tank: The Clan to introduce the new mechanic, Bind!! And it's gonna have 12 Crit soon.
- Shadow Paladin: Getting their 13k Vanguard - PBO!! And a bunch of other things revolving around PBO... And their own version of Lohengrin, and their own Kirara... AND A CRITICAL TRIGGER!!!
- Kagero: Just some cards to support that DOTE...
- Dimension Police: GETTING A STAND TRIGGER CAN TRASH LIAO and the Grade 3 is really mass Standing spammage.
- Nova Grappler: I wonder why they're giving Nova a new Draw Trigger... and Top Gun is lame... but Street Bouncer is interesting.
- Royal Paladin: I <3 Royal Paladin <3 <3 <3 ok back to topic, they're getting a 13k Vanguard too, Majesty Lord Blaster, but it's effect is still unknown so I can't comment on it. They're getting a new Starter too (forever getting Starting Vanguards wahaha) and lots of foils. Be prepared to splurge.

Argh I keep spamming caps for new Triggers. Wahaha. Actually, I think Triggers are very important to building a deck, hence... :P

(I won't include the effects and other info to save space... and I'm lazy to do so :P and I won't cover every card, I'll only mention those that I feel like mentioning... cause I'm lazy :P)

Star Call Trumpeter - for lolicons. Right now, as of the cards revealed, Blaster Blade's the only possible target for this card's effect. However, this card's a RRR, and seeing Wingal Brave, I think there'll be more Blaster Units soon. If not in BT05, maybe PR, maybe BT06 or even the new Trial Decks?

PBO - The 13k Vanguard for Shadow Paladins. It's effect is quite good, but considering that it's when you're attacking, the opponent can just drop a Nullifier and that's it.

DOTE - The 13k Vanguard for Kagero. It's effect is only when the attack hits, and you Stand this Unit. Better than Dragonic Overlord and Stern Blaukruger in a way, since you don't lose Twin Drive!!

Miracle Beauty - This effect is amazing. Dimension Police have 8 Stand now, increasing the chance of Standing this Unit. And Standing this Unit is just like getting 2 Stand Triggers, since you get to Stand the Rear-guard behind this Unit.

Maiden of Trailing Rose - This effect's nice. Just CB 1 and drop this card from the hand and look at top 5 cards of deck (sounds like Galahad/Tsukuyomi Superior Riding...) and Call up to 2 Neo Nectar from those 5 cards. Of course, Neo Nectar is able to build a pure deck, just choose the best ones to Call! And if there's Triggers, they'll be shuffled back into the deck, so it's not really an issue.

Stealth Fae Midnight Crow - This is interesting. CB 2 to Call this same Unit although it returns to the bottom of the deck at the end of the turn, 8k attacker only, but still useful.

Stealth Ogre of Haori, Shanaou - Interesting effect too, Murakumo has the weirdest effects ever. This seems to be anti-Blockade.

Wingal Brave - This seems to hint that there'll be more Blaster Units. Definitely for searching out the new Majesty Lord Blaster though.

Ok I shall end here cause I'm lazy haha!

Today's Pro Card 1 January 2012

The first post on cards for the year, and it's gonna be Tsukuyomi. The Grade 3 one of course.

Goddess of the Full Moon, Tsukuyomi
Grade 3/Twin Drive!!
Power: 11 000
United Sanctuary - Oracle Think Tank
Race: Noble
永 {V/R}: If you do not have "Goddess of the Half Moon, Tsukuyomi", "Goddess of the Crescent Moon, Tsukuyomi", and "Godhawk, Ichibyoshi" in your Soul, this Unit's Power is -2000.
起 {V}: [Counter Blast (2)] If you have 6 or more <Oracle Think Tank> in your Soul, draw 2 cards, then choose 1 card from your hand and add it to your Soul.

Firstly, it's an 11k tanker to deal with. Most set ups are only up to 20k, here you have to get a 21k set up to even make a difference.
Secondly, as you know, the Tsukuyomi family is a Superior Riding family. Check top 5 cards of the deck at the start of the Ride Phase, if the next evolution is in the 5 cards, Ride from there. That saves hand size. And saving hand size in an OTT deck means a bigger hand size. And a bigger hand size is bad news for YOU.
Thirdly, Tsukuyomi's effect. A +1 to hand size for them every time they use it. And of course, a bigger hand size is bad news for YOU. Anyway, drawing 2 - even if Triggers are drawn, it just adds on to the defense. If they draw good cards - Silent Tom, Chocolat - good luck to you.

Happy New Year!!

Ok, this time we posted on the same day, but it's already quite late at night in Singapore, so I must say, we're still kinda late on this haha!

But anyway, Happy New Year guys!! :D

Hope your wishes came true, or will come true! Hahaha

Have fun dueling~~
